Interview and OA Prep

June 28, 2026·

Whole week was about eating yummy food and grinding the whole day.

Interview and OA Prep

The cover was taken from my home's terrace, on 22nd June's Morning, I woke up and Papa showed me the rainbow which was forming in the sky, it was about to rain and also sunny, so this beautiful moment occured and I just felt that nature is so beautiful, so so beautiful.

Ate so many yummy food:

I made maggi with schezwan chutney, cheese, mayo, chilli flakes and some more ingredients, it turned out to be very very creamy and very delicious.

and one day, Mom made a new dish called "cheesy pizzy", which is mayo based veggie filling inside store bought pizza base, it was so yum.

Also went out 1-2 days to finish some other work I had in the city.

Just enjoyed this week, and worked.

What I worked onCopied!

I worked on a lot of cool things this week, made a lot of small quality of life programs/scripts:

  • kde-curves-widget : The curves widget implementation is merged and now in upstream of Kdenlive (will probably be released in the next release), with this 1/3rd of my GSoC'26 project is done. more to come!
  • obs-zoom-script : I was tired of screen.studio not supporting linux, and the linux alternatives like recordly and openscreen not working properly on hyprland (might be my skill issue), so after looking around for so long, I found a script (that too for windows), which introduced smooth zooming when hitting a hotkey in OBS, made it work on hyprland and made a repo for anyone else to use.
  • flock : Real-time multiplayer presence and live cursors for any web app; in just 10 lines of code. in short, this is a SDK I made to selfhost your own multiplayer presence and live cursor server, the docs are here. I even made live demos for anyone on the internet to check out the performance of my SDK as a website, where they can create private rooms and share the link/code to other people and they can join and all of their cursors will be shown in real time and also updated in real time, I hosted everything on ECS (elastic container service), so that It would scale when there were more people, but later shut it down, as I was giving a lot of time to this and I had other plans for the week, will continue working on this and release it properly after I land an intern :)
  • obsidian-youtube-links-pluigin : made a plugin because I was frustrated how my links would show up in Obsidian as just plain links (youtube links), I wanted to fetch title and channel data, like Notion does and shows them so beuatifully. It's live on obsidian community plugins store at here.

What I found interestingCopied!

  • bashblog : "A single Bash script to create blogs. Download, run, write, done!", very very well made, makes RSS, Index and everything a SSG (static site generator) would have. so cool!
  • honeymoon : "An Emacs-inspired C++20 terminal editor. No Lisp. No bloat." -> met the creator of this in "threadlocked", cool guy! very inspiring. check his web: mooofin.github.io/portfolio : i love his website man, and his projects are so cool, do check 'em out!
  • homepagectl : "Generate gethomepage.dev configs from running Docker containers", best for people who do a lot of homelabbing and host a lot of services. -> met the creator of this in "threadlocked" too, my man does a lot of homelabbing and has a ton of services running and his own SERVER RACK, damn! check his web: 0xn1nja.dev

RandomCopied!

Weather was ok this week, a lot of heat but it did rain a day or two. One thing which I found very annoying was people cheating so much in CodeForces contests just to put their rating in resume for internship season, I hate this.

Also, I've been playing undertale, about to finish that game, around 90% done. Check it out, amazing game by Toby Fox : Steam Link

Been listening to this guy on youtube : Groovy Soulful House Mix by XANH

Listened to 1-2 songs by Asim Azhar and damn, I'm obsessed.
